Shark Tank’s Drain Strain™ Launches Indiegogo Campaign for Bathtub Clog Stopper with Halloween Commercial

Shark Tank backed Drain Strain launches Drain Strain Bathtub and Drain Strain Sink Deluxe exclusively on Indiegogo.

Drain Strain is a true entrepreneurial success story. When Naushad Ali made a deal with Robert Herjavec and Kevin Harrington on the hit TV series Shark Tank, his Drain Strain invention was catapulted into an overnight sensation. With that support of the Sharks, he went on to develop two new products: Drain Strain Sink Deluxe and Drain Strain Bathtub—exclusively on sale on Indiegogo—for the month of October and the Halloween holiday. The 2-in-1 solutions: drain stoppers and hair catchers are ready to ship at a 40% off discount specifically to keep the dirt goblins in your drains from blowing your Thanksgiving and Christmas plans. Deals for professionals in the hotel and plumbing industries are also being offered at scary good savings in the hundreds if they’re bought in bulk.

The October launch was playfully created with Halloween in mind. “Plumbing isn’t a sexy category. So we really wanted to find a clever way to engage with our audience,” said Founder and Inventor Naushad Ali. “We believe the approach of embedding the Drain Strain narrative within a horror film was a clever and unique way to do this for Halloween.” See video  Indiegogo .

Funding from the Indiegogo campaign will go directly towards production and development of an all-new Drain Strain Shower version which is currently in design stages.

Deals (or perks as Indiegogo refers to them) for early bird buyers range from $15 for Drain Strain Bathtub, $12 for the Drain Strain Sink Deluxe, and $200 for Hotel/Plumber bulk packs, while supplies last—then prices creep up.
